Lagos is a city with a population more than some countries around the a world (over 25 million). Lagos State as the commercial capital of Nigeria, may be the reason why Google has choosen Lagos to put up Free WiFi hub so people could get free browsing. It doesn't matter if you need MTN free browsing, glo free browsing, airtel free browsing or 9mobile (Etisalat) free browsing, just take your android or iOS device or any other device that can receive WiFi internet, to these Locations to browse for free.
In ountries like United States UK, Germany and other developed countries, has free WiFi everywhere even by private individuals. Just three day ago, Google free WiFi was up nd running in some part of Lagos state.
Below Are List of Locations with Free WiFi for Free Browsing
• Ikeja City Mall
• The Palms Lekki
• Ikeja ( Computer village)
• University of Lagos, Akoka
According to Google Nigeria Director, Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor, as quoted by channels tv “It is live in some locations already like the MMA 2, Ikeja City Mall, The Palms Lekki, Computer Village and the University of Lagos (UNILAG). “We are launching Google Station in Nigeria and we are open to working with partners within the telecoms space; telecom operators and ISPs,” she said. “We’re kicking it off with a partnership with 21st Century to launch Google Station in Lagos.”
She Also said this free WiFi will be available at over 200 locations throughout the country before the end of 2019, so people who don't have enough to spend on data could go there for free browsing.
